Let’s be honest—adulthood comes with its fair share of responsibilities, but when was the last time you let yourself be truly carefree? At Camp Casco, you can trade in schedules and emails for silly costumes, campfire songs, and the thrill of an all-out game of capture the flag. Here, joy isn’t just encouraged—it’s the whole point. Whether you’re leading an arts-and-crafts project, laughing through a pool noodle battle, or discovering that, yes, there is a perfect way to roast a marshmallow, you’ll remember just how good it feels to play.

Every day at camp is a new adventure with our exciting theme days! From time-traveling to different eras to stepping into a world of fantasy, each morning brings a fresh surprise for campers and counselors alike. One day, you might find yourself on a swashbuckling pirate quest, and the next, you’re decked out in neon for a retro dance party.
As a counselor, you’ll play a key role in bringing the magic to life—whether it’s dressing up, leading themed activities, or simply embracing the joy and excitement alongside the kids. No matter what the theme, every day is packed with laughter, creativity, and unforgettable memories.
Not only are theme days fun, but costumes also help set the tone and break the ice for counselors and nervous campers alike. Research shows that costume and play allow children to engage in physical, emotional, cognitive, and sensory exercises. It’s a rite of passage!
