A Note From The Director
We are so excited to have you join us at The One Mission Day Camp this summer!! Below, you will find information about getting to and from camp, how to pack for camp, and what to expect. Please look over all of the info at your convenience.

Getting To Camp
The One Mission Day Camp is located on a small field of Dana Hall School campus (45 Dana Road, Wellesley MA).
Arrival is 9:00AM every day, and dismissal is at 5:30PM every day, with the exception of July 4th. on July 4th, we will be hosting a Family Fun Day at Hale Reservation. Volunteers are expected to be there from 10:00AM - 2:30PM.
Our activities will take place at the front of the Shipley Center. Parking is located right next to the center. If you click the address above, it will take you directly to the correct area. Please note that if you are driving and parking at Dana Hall, we will need to know your car make, model, color and plate # so that we can have a parking pass obtained for you.
Theme Days
Theme days are a wonderful way to get into the camp spirit! This year, the theme of the week is OLYMPICS! Some of our counselors go all out dressing up for our theme days, and we coordinate games and crafts throughout the week to go along with our theme days. Counselors are encouraged to coordinate their outfits to fit the theme days. This could be as simple as wearing a themed t-shirt that you already have in your closet. The more excitement we show the campers, the better!
**While costumes are strongly encouraged, please note that there is no need to go out and spend money on these themes. Some of the best costumes are handmade!**
2024 The One Mission Day Camp Theme Days
Monday: Opening Ceremonies -- dress up as something that represents who you are, or counselors can dress up as their nickname!
Tuesday: Paris/France Day -- dress up in your most fashionable (camp-friendly) outfit, as Paris is the center of fashion! Or dress up in the colors of the French flag, or wear a French outfit if you have one (anything goes as long as it is tied to France in some way, so feel free to get creative)
Wednesday: Winter Olympics -- dress up in anything winter-y. This could mean wearing winter colors (blue, white, red, green etc.), dressing up as a character from a winter-themed or holiday movie, or wearing "winter" clothing that would be appropriate for the summer (like a thin scarf or gloves)
Thursday: Summer Olympics (Hale Reservation Day) -- this will be the Fourth of July, so dress in red, white and blue.
Friday: Ancient Greece Day -- dress up wearing a toga (could wear a white bed sheet over white clothing to DIY one), or just wear all white! Alternatively, wear blue and white (colors of the Greek flag)

Packing List
You may want to have a change of clothes for your days at camp as well as a few extra items. Refer to the list below and feel free to bring any other supplies that you think might be useful during your day. You may get dirty or wet during the day so take that into consideration when dressing for the day. Please note that closed-toe shoes are mandatory at all times except going to and from the swimming area.

Any and all theme day accessories
Important Notes
We will be providing daily snacks and lunches. While you are permitted to bring your own snacks and lunch, you will be asked to keep individual items out of sight from campers and will eat these during your allotted break time.
There is a mandatory training session on Sunday, June 30 from 10am - 5pm. Lunch and snacks will be provided, but please be sure to bring a water bottle and sun screen!
Volunteer meds will be stored in personal brown bags in a single locked cabinet in our Med Shed that all volunteers have access to. A selection of over-the-counter meds for volunteer use will be provided there as well, though we encourage you to bring your own OTC meds if you have a need for a specific brand or type of medication. If you would like more privacy/protection over your personal meds, we encourage you to bring your own small lockable container.
Use of firearms, tobacco, marijuana, alcohol, or illegal drugs is strictly forbidden. This includes while on breaks. Violators will be sent home IMMEDIATELY and suspended from attending camp in future years if any of these items are found in their possession or used.
DO NOT BRING any gum, candy, fireworks, or valuable items.
Cell Phone Policy: We have a 100% zero tolerance policy on all camper cell phones. Upon arrival at camp, all campers will check in their cell phones at our Med Shed. “Unplugging” is incredibly important to helping the campers bond and make the most of their time at Camp Casco, and we ask for your support in enforcing this rule. Because of this, we ask that you do not use your cell phones at all during camp time. You may use your cell phones only during breaks and away from view of the campers. This goes for tablets, iPods, and laptops as well.
This policy applies to all campers and all volunteers (with the exception of Camp Leadership and their designees) and will be strictly enforced.
